Safety: Cold Weather Brings Warnings

BLUF: Cold weather brings a host of challenges. The Army’s guidance can help.

Old Man Winter’s on the doorstep and that means hot cider, warm socks and a good football game. But it’s also the time to plan for the prevention of cold weather injuries (CWI), which include hypothermia, frostbite and even sunburn. The Army recently issued a timely reminder about CWIs with a cold weather ALARACT.
