MEDEVAC: HH-60M Aircraft and Mission Equipment Status Reporting
BLUF:
For status reporting of HH-60M MEDEVAC aircraft and mission equipment, follow the addendum to GEN-19-AMAM-01 (Nov 18).
Pvt. Ethan Scofield
PD MEDEVAC continues to receive questions about operational issues with the HH-60M MEDEVAC mission equipment and corresponding status reporting requirements for the aircraft, especially when it comes to uninstalled equipment.
These questions are answered in the addendum to GEN-19-AMAM-01 (Nov 18),
Instructions for Army Aviation Readiness and Sustainability
. Pay special attention to Table 3-16-1 and its accompanying notes.
For more information, check out the relevant page from the Blackhawk Newsletter
HERE
.
MEDEVAC operators should note that it is critical to maintain accountability for the care of uninstalled MEDEVAC mission equipment. Any uninstalled equipment must be maintained in an operational status and packaged and stored in a manner sufficient to afford protection to individual components and systems.
