Maintenance leaders, if you have JLTV A0 or A1 variants, make sure that your property book officers (PBOs) are aware of supply advisory message (SAM) 23-001. That’s because it explains the turn-in procedures and PN info for the driver smart display unit (DSDU).
Component Items Affected
JLTV models M1278, M1279, M1280 and M1281 DSDU are cross-referenced to DSDU A0.
JLTV models M1278A1, M1279A1, M1280A1 and M1281A1 DSDU are cross-referenced to DSDU A1.
For the NSNs and PNs, along with detailed packing instructions, grab your CAC and access SAM 23-001 HERE.
