I Own This: May 2023 Nominees

PS Magazine’s I Own This campaign is designed to recognize Warfighters of all services who exemplify the highest standards of care for their assigned vehicles and equipment and contribute in meaningful ways to their unit's overall maintenance and supply posture. In short, they live and breathe readiness.

For May 2023, one Warfighter was nominated for this program: SGT Cameron C Clendon, THAAD Team Leader, Ft Cavazos, TX.

Launcher Operator/Team Leader
E-62 THAAD BTRY, 4-5 ADA BN, 69th ADA BDE
 Ft Cavazos, TX
Nominated by: 1LT Caleb Hayes

How you came to know/observe the nominee's actions? As Platoon Leader for Launcher Platoon, I have responsibility for the accountability and maintenance of our equipment and see first-hand what SGT Clendon does.

Why does this individual deserve recognition? SGT Clendon is often the sole reporter of status and operator/maintainer of launcher equipment each and every week. He takes great pride in the accountability and maintenance of each piece of equipment at the Solider level, to include trucks/launchers, communications equipment and other sensitive items. His dedication to the care of our equipment makes the Army a more lethal force.
