MEDEVAC: MMS Adapter Plate Corrosion Guidance

Mechanics, corrosion can pop up anywhere and anytime. Even though there’ve been only a few reported cases in the past two years, corrosion is impacting the MEDEVAC mission sensor (MMS) adapter plate, NSN 5340-01-614-9602.
If you haven’t already done so, inspect your MMS adapter plate. If corrosion is present, check out the guidance provided by PD MEDEVAC and the AMCOM Material Science and Engineering Division on Pages 11-12 of the Utility Helicopter newsletter (May-June 22) HERE.
