Bradley FOV: FBCB2/JBC-P Drive Corruption

Maintainers, the Bradley’s computer drive that powers the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)/Joint Battle Command Platform (JBC-P) can become corrupted if the system is improperly shut down or if the main vehicle power is lost.

The procedures to clear a corrupt drive are attached to TACOM Maintenance Information Message 22-025. Access the message HERE.

Crewmen, you can help prevent a corrupted drive by following all the proper shutdown procedures for the FBCB2 and JBC-P systems in the -10 TM.

Proper maintenance on the vehicle battery systems will help prevent loose cabling, loose battery connections and battery post arcing. Proper cable connections are also a part of normal maintenance and will help prevent the vehicle losing power.

For more info, refer to the maintenance information message.
