M969A3 Fuel Tanker: Order Fuel Nozzle with Coupling

MEF Refueling

Dear Half-Mast,

I need to order a fuel nozzle for the M969A3 fuel tanker and I want to get the coupling with it. The COEI/BII listings in TM 9-2330-330-13 (Jul 15) tells me to use NSN 4930-01-290-0756. The TM shows the nozzle and coupling with that NSN.

Here’s my problem. I’ve ordered this before and didn’t get the coupling. Can you tell me how I can get a fuel nozzle that comes with the coupling?

Mr. E.D.

Dear Mr. E.D.,

Too easy! You’re right about the info in the TM. Sounds like you’ve learned the hard way that if you use NSN 4930-01-290-0756, you’ll get the nozzle, but not the coupling.

Units can get a replacement nozzle that comes with a coupling from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) using NSN 4930-01-544-2307. They don’t come cheap, but they do come with the coupling you need.

For more information, contact DLA’s Customer Interaction Center at (877) 352-2255 or (269) 704-7921.  Or you can email DLA:
