M88A2 Recovery Vehicles: New Brake Modulation Valve

Mechanics, a new brake modulation valve is available for the M88A2 recovery vehicle.

The new valve offers much better “pedal feel” than the old valve. This improves braking control sensitivity at all speeds and eliminates sudden or jerking stops.

Because the new valve gives the driver more control over braking, recovery tasks such as towing and “pick and carry” are much easier and safer.

The improved valve looks identical to the old valve and can be installed in the field using the same procedures for the old valve replacement. Get the new valve with NSN 4820-01-689-5133.
