Tactical Computers: Take Cover from Water Damage

Power-washing Army equipment

Water has many uses, but one thing you don’t want to get water on is computer equipment. Unfortunately, that’s happening because some Soldiers are leaving their tactical computer systems exposed when power-washing their vehicles.

These incidents cost the Army thousands of dollars in damage. The solution is simple: Ensure all tactical computer compartments and bays are properly closed before power-washing vehicles. Access doors on computer equipment must always be secured with latches, except when removing or installing hard-drives and batteries.
