SHARP: Trust is Key to Building Strong Teams

SHARP poster
US Army graphic by Sgt. 1st Class Caleb Barrieau

Trust directly affects the chances a victim will come forward to report an incident of sexual harassment or sexual assault.

When leaders at any level don’t have the trust of their workforce, victims and bystanders typically don’t feel they can speak up without fear of retaliation, being ridiculed, humiliated or undermined.

Creating and maintaining a culture of trust is essential to maintaining mission readiness. Do what you can today to help make a difference.

Remember, protecting people protects the Army’s mission.
