Publications: Dive into the EIR Digest

The Equipment Improvement Report (EIR) and Maintenance Digest is a quarterly publication and the information within any given digest expires two years from its publication date. The EIR Digest, a technical bulletin (TB 43-0001-62-series), covers all the categories of equipment managed by the TACOM life cycle management command (LCMC).

The digest includes information about:

EIRs
Equipment publication changes
2028 response information
Publication actions

The EIR Digest includes chapters on:

General information
EIR cases
Minor alterations
Ideas approved for implementation based on submittals from DA Form 2028, Recommended Changes to Publications and Blank Forms
Miscellaneous technical information
Authenticated technical equipment publications
Safety and maintenance messages

You'll need your CAC to access. You must also have an AESIP and ETM accounts established first.

Once you're in the EM/ETM application, to see a list of all available issues, select Pub Number in Search Type box, then type TB 43-0001-62-% in the Search Criteria box and click Search. The newest issue should appear at the bottom of the list but you can reorder the listing by clicking on the Pub Date column header.
