M400W Compact Skid Loader: Ensure Door is Shut or Risk Battery Drain

Operators,

The word’s out that batteries on the M400W compact skid-loaders are known to drain after shutdown.

A partially closed cab door is one of the most common culprits.  If the door isn’t shut all the way, the door’s sensor stays activated.  That drains the batteries, leaving no charge for the next start up!

When you close the door, make sure you hear a “click” before walking away.  That’s the best way to make sure the skid-loader will start up the next time you need it.
