FMTV and HIMARS: TACOM Safety Message for Cab Raise Procedures

BLUF:  TACOM has added new cab raise procedure and crush hazard WARNINGS related to raising the cab for FMTVs, which will be added to FMTV and HIMARS TMs.

Heads up! If your unit has an FMTV (including HIMARS), grab your CAC and click on TACOM GSAM 23-004 for an important safety message regarding new cab raise procedure and crush hazard WARNINGS related to raising the cab for FMTVs. You’ll see this info in a future update to FMTV and HIMARS operator and maintenance TMs.
        
Be sure to follow the reporting guidance in the safety message.
