M113A3-Series FOV: Tighten Water Pump Belts During Engine Install

Mechanics, when installing a new M113A3-series FOV engine, NSN 2815-01-412-2715 or NSN 2815-01-248-7644, make sure to tighten the engine’s water pump belts.

The water pump belts are intentionally kept loose while the engines are in storage because they can stretch if kept tight during storage.

The TMs are being updated to reflect that the water pump belts should be tightened during engine installation.

This applies to all M113A3 vehicles, including the OSV and MBT.
