Maintenance Readiness: Are You Ready for AAME?

The Chief of Staff, Army Award for Maintenance Excellence (AAME) was started in 1982 to recognize exceptional maintenance practices and promote overall readiness. If your unit is following the Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP), you’re already well on the way to entering the FY20 competition. The AAME competition requires an entry packet and you can find the program guidelines at:
          
You’ll need your CAC to access the site. If you don’t already have access, be ready to explain why you need it.
        
If you enter the competition, experts will provide feedback and best practices on your maintenance procedures, which will help improve your unit’s readiness. Winning units will be recognized by the Army’s top leaders. The deadline to enter is November 2020. Find more information at:
